LifeLine Vaal Triangle is a trusted non-profit organisation committed to supporting emotional and mental wellness in the community. Since 1984, they have provided free, confidential counselling, trauma debriefing, and personal development programmes to individuals in need. Grounded in compassion and human rights, their mission is to help people navigate life’s challenges and build resilience through accessible, community-based care.

Counselling & Trauma Debriefing

LifeLine Vaal Triangle has been offering free, confidential counselling for over 40 years. Their trained lay counsellors provide non-judgemental emotional support to individuals experiencing trauma, crisis, or emotional distress, ensuring no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Personal Growth Course

This powerful 8-week programme focuses on emotional wellbeing and self-development. Participants are guided through exercises that build self-awareness, improve communication, and foster healthy interpersonal relationships.

HIV/AIDS Counselling & Testing

LifeLine Vaal provides free, confidential HIV testing and counselling services. These services are aimed at promoting awareness, reducing stigma, and offering emotional support for individuals navigating their health status.

Shelter for Abused Women

Operating since 1988, their shelter offers a secure and supportive space for women and children escaping abuse. The programme provides 24/7 protection, access to professional services, and opportunities for skills development and personal empowerment.

Thuthuzela Care Centre Support

Through their work with Thuthuzela Care Centres, LifeLine Vaal delivers vital support to survivors of sexual violence. Services include trauma counselling, HIV testing, and compassionate, trauma-informed care to assist in the recovery process.

School Programmes

Their youth-focused programmes engage learners in Sedibeng through workshops on sexuality, gender-based violence, and emotional wellness. The goal is to foster safer, more inclusive, and emotionally resilient school environments.

Training & Skills Development

LifeLine Vaal also invests in building capacity within the community by training lay counsellors and offering workshops for organisations. These sessions equip participants with tools to better understand emotional health and support others effectively.
